Nick: Well Dave. What's wrong with Getlin? EJ, I mean? Dave: Well.. No one even knows. You see that's the problem and that's why I asked you to come. So someone would finally know. And anyways it's a really long story. Kevin: And we have a LOT of time ahead of us and nothing to do. Joe: So why don't you start from the beginning with what you do know. Dave: Fine.. I guess.. But you CAN'T use this against me later. Remember that! *looks at the boys, giving them death stares* Joe, Kevin and Nick: Yes, David. We promise. Dave: Very good then. Ok. It started when we still lived in LA. The first weeks we were there I started noticing how unhappy she was. Everyone looked so stuck-up and they were very shallow. At least that's what she told me, when she still talked. She didn't have anyone to talk to, so we got really close. I knew everything about her before anyway, so it was easy. I know that we aren't supposed to get close, but I feel like she's my daughter, so I had to help her somehow. But back to the story. We had been living in LA for about two weeks and her birthday was coming up. She knew what she wanted to do, kick her guardians out and start living by herself. Unfortunately, she didn't get to do it right away. We had been in LA for 15 days, I think. I picked her up from school everyday. Safety reasons, you know. But one day, she wasn't there. So I went to the front desk and asked for security. So I watched the tapes they had and I saw that she was pulled into a black van. No one else had noticed it, but luckily it had happened only 10 minutes ago. So I was hopeful. Stupid me I guess. I started driving around and came up with nothing. So I went home, thought and figured out that someone had kidnapped her. *the boys mouths fell open after hearing that* Yeah, I know. Anyway, I thought kidnappers, they want money. Which she has. Loads, more than you could dream of. So I expected a ransom. I waited for a week. Nothing. So I finally went to the cops. It was hard searching for a black van, when you don't have anything about it. So I started calling my contacts and snooping around the school and saw some video cameras that might have caught something. And they did luckily. I got the license plate and started looking. The van was abandoned, but it wasn't hard to find them from there. They left a trail. But unfortunately, to get the trail, it took me two weeks, so it had been 6 weeks from her kidnapping. It took me another two weeks to follow the trail and find her. I did. After two months of searching I found her. She was with her kidnappers in a abandoned warehouse. I called the cops. When I found her, I was so terrified. She looked so thin and fragile, and I swear, she didn't look human! Her skin was really pale and it looked like she hadn't been cleaned for a long time. She had some other clothes on, instead of the ones she was wearing during the kidnapping. But you know hat the worst part was? Joe: *intensely listening* WHAT? WHAT? Dave: Her eyes. She looked so scared and her face was so puffed like she had been crying for months. She was curled up in a ball, mumbling your name *points at Nick* all the time. So I took her on my lap and just hugged her. She still repeated your name. Nothing else. I was so worried. So I took her to a hospital. They said that physically she's fine but mentally.. not so much and that she should go to therapy. You know the weirdest part was that her guardians didn't even care enough about her to be there. It was just me. Let me tell you, therapy was pointless! She just sat there. Didn't do anything. During some point she started drawing black holes. The doctor was scared. She asked me to move her somewhere else. So it would be a new atmosphere. All Getlin said was: Sell the house they live in and buy me a house in Colorado Springs. That was the last thing she said. So that's what I did. I sold the house and bought a new one in Colorado. I found the perfect house. It's very quiet around there and we have a huge place. The house isn't big, but the garden is. It's all green. Very beautiful if you ask me. It didn't matter to her though. We moved there, I enrolled her in the school and then she just zoned out. She does perfectly at school, always does dinner, homework after school, Woof always taken care of. But she's empty, I can see it in her eyes. It's the saddest thing. When she listens to your music *points at the boys*, she always starts crying. She never tells me why. She doesn't watch TV anymore and now, she doesn't even listen do YOUR music. And she's never online. I can hear her screaming at nights. I think that's when her unconscious tells her what happened during the two months. I feel so helpless because she won't talk to me or anyone. She's like a zombie.
